These terms govern your use of BrainDump, including the Free plan and the optional BrainDump GO subscription.
THE SERVICE
BrainDump is a personal thought-capture and memory tool. It lets you save, organize, search, connect, and act on information you choose to store. Some smart features use automated analysis and may produce incomplete or inaccurate results. You remain responsible for decisions you make based on your saved content or BrainDump outputs.
YOUR ACCOUNT
You are responsible for keeping your login information secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate account information and do not use BrainDump in a way that interferes with the service, violates law, infringes another person's rights, or attempts to access another user's data.
FREE + BRAINDUMP GO
The Free plan includes core capture, search, projects, organization, and a limited number of Smart Actions per monthly usage period. BrainDump GO includes expanded smart features and currently provides unlimited in-app Smart Actions, subject to service availability, reasonable abuse prevention, and any clearly disclosed future plan changes.
BrainDump may improve, add, remove, or change features over time. If a paid-plan change is material, we will provide notice where required.
APPLE SUBSCRIPTION
BrainDump GO on iPhone is offered through Apple as an auto-renewable monthly subscription for $4.99 per month in the United States. The exact price shown by Apple before purchase is the price that applies to your Apple Account and may vary by country, currency, tax, or App Store pricing changes.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically each month unless you cancel it.
- You can manage or cancel BrainDump GO in your Apple subscription settings.
- Use Restore Purchases inside BrainDump to reconnect an eligible Apple subscription to your BrainDump account.
- Apple controls billing, payment methods, refunds, and App Store transaction processing.
Deleting your BrainDump account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. Cancel the subscription through Apple if you do not want future renewal charges.
YOUR CONTENT
You keep ownership of the content you put into BrainDump. You give BrainDump the limited permission needed to host, process, back up, transmit, and display that content solely to operate features you request and maintain the service. Optional Smart Analysis is subject to the choices and disclosures in our Privacy Policy.
AVAILABILITY
We work to keep BrainDump available and reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted operation. Features may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, network failures, third-party outages, App Store issues, or other events outside our control.
BACKUPS + IMPORTANT INFORMATION
BrainDump includes a backup-export option, and you should keep independent copies of information that would cause serious harm if lost. BrainDump is not intended to be the sole storage location for emergency, medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or other high-consequence information.
TERMINATION
You may stop using BrainDump at any time and may delete your account from Settings. We may suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, or legal rights, including for abuse, fraud, security threats, or serious violations of these terms.
DISCLAIMERS + LIABILITY
To the extent permitted by law, BrainDump is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties that every feature, reminder, connection, or automated result will always be complete, accurate, or available. To the extent permitted by law, BrainDump and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.
Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited in your jurisdiction.
APPLE TERMS
For the iOS app, Apple's applicable App Store terms also apply. Where BrainDump does not provide a custom App Store license agreement, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the downloaded app.
CHANGES
We may update these terms as BrainDump changes. Material changes will be posted with an updated effective date and additional notice when required by law.
